About SAJ Transport Consultants
The Company was established in 2007 and has continued to grow and expand its workload and client base throughout the intervening period. It has done so by employing high quality staff that buy into the Company ethos of client care and on delivering cost effective solutions. We believe that a satisfied client is the best form of marketing!
The majority of the work is at the planning stage for private sector clients, although one of the focus areas for expansion is the public sector where we have completed a number of projects over the past 24 months.
SAJ Transport Consultants is one of the few independent transport consultants with a stakeholder status in the Transport Planning Society (TPS). We will encourage and support candidates to engage in a formal TPS training scheme to acquire the necessary knowledge and experience to address transport issues and to keep abreast of the opportunities that exist in what is an ever-changing profession.
The role will require excellent oral and written communication skills, to convey information to clients, fellow professionals within project teams and to local authorities.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of transport planning is required.
You will be working within a close-knit team where the focus will be on contributing to the success of the project; whether leading the project or as part of the project team.
The projects vary in size and complexity. We believe that experience is best gained by being adaptable and to become adaptable needs exposure and support through many different situations. We encourage a pro-active approach to the work we do and seek contributions from all members within the team.
